Wildcats Get Redemption in AFL London Grand Final

The sun was shining at Motspur Park on Saturday when the Raiders and Wildcats both took on the Wandsworth Demons in the AFL London Conference and Premiership grand finals.

In a close game, unfortunately the Raiders couldn't hold of their opponents, losing narrowly by 3 points. It was a different story however for the Cats, who really didn't give the Demons much of a chance, dominating the game and taking the win by a huge 51 points!

Todd Pfeiffer and Andy Challis were as reliable as always in the midfield, with captain Jared 'Jimmy' Risol awarded best on ground honours. It was a special win for many of the Wildcats, after a heartbreaking 1 point loss in last year's grand final. The grand final win finished the treble for the boys, after they also won the Europeans Champions League and Pre Season Cup.

The celebrations continued well into the night back at the Wildcats home ground, Dukes Meadow. Congratulations to all the boys on a successful season!
